Håll Sverige Rent – Hej då engångsmugg

Swedes use an estimated one billion disposable coffee cups every year – a habit with serious environmental consequences. The campaign “Hej då engångsmugg” (Goodbye Disposable Cup), led by Håll Sverige Rent and funded by Postkodlotteriet, set out to tackle this issue through strategic partnerships, public awareness, and actionable behavior change.

A key part of the initiative was a collaboration with Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven, offering discounts to customers who brought their own reusable mugs. The campaign also partnered with Pricerunner to create a consumer guide to the best reusable mugs on the market, and released the report “Lika mycket kaffe men färre muggar”, examining legislation, environmental impact, and shifting consumer attitudes.
